Celebrate The Small Things: 3 October

  • I decided to return back to Share And Bake this week. I think I’d worked on it for so long before that I just needed a break from the project, but now I was able to return with a fresh head and attempt to make some improvements. I’ve also started making more of an effort in promoting the site and will continue to do so into next week.
  • I joined up to NaNoWriMo and will start making preparations soon. I’m not sure if I’m really capable of doing something like this, but I figured that there isn’t any reason not to try and it could be fun. Still, this probably means slowing down on some of my other ideas and projects for a while.
  • My friends suddenly want to build an app and are asking me to help. I’m not sure if it’ll go fully ahead, but it might be a fun project to consider and nice to have others to carry the load with. Of course, I’d have to see if it’ll fit in alongside everything else I want to do :P.
  • Dressed for a night out, should be fun!

About wallcat

I have a strong passion for computing. In particular programming for which I am able to use a variety of languages including C++, Visual C#, Blitz Basic, Actionscript 2.0, Python and Lua. I also enjoy web-design and have some knowledge of HTML/CSS, PHP/SQL and Javascript. As well as programming I have a strong background in art and enjoy drawing in my spare time. When I’m not sat at my computer I like to keep fit by going to the gym or using my exercise ball.

Oooh, building an app sounds really interesting! And I was thinking of jumping into NaNoWriMo again this Nov. Not sure whether my schedule would permit me to make a full-time commitment, but here’s hoping I get somewhere! If you wanna be buddies there, I’m maggie_hk at the nano site.

Thanks, I’ve added you. My name on there is wallcat. You should give it a go, but it’s not a big deal if you try and don’t succeed. I’m not too worried about it (despite my limited writing experience) as it feels like more of a personal goal anyway. I’m actually quite excited as I have ideas for what I want to write about and I am starting to prepare already 😀
