Celebrate The Small Things: 31 July

Not much has really stood out to me about this week, I’ve been feeling kind of tired so I guess I didn’t get around to doing as much as I’d have liked. My friends and I did go to see Ant-Man however, and it turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting. The humour in it was brilliant and the concept didn’t come off as silly as I thought it would ā€“ even the ants were kind of cute. I also had some early birthday cake today ā€“ I’m a year older tomorrow. Got a few plans so I guess I’m just looking forward to the weekend right now.

What is better than going to a movie or other such entertainment that you *think* will have you twiddling your thumbs and cracking your jaw yawning, only to discover that, actually, it’s rather fun? Perhaps feeling a little perked-up after a weary week… I hope it happened for you. (Happy belated birthday!)

Thank you. That has happened to me a lot, not felt really keen on an idea, but went along with it anyway, just to find I really enjoyed it. Great to feel like our time was well spent afterall. I had a fun weekend, but I’m feeling weary again right now. Ready for another weekend already.
