Celebrate The Small Things: 13 November

autumn_twitterI might not be an outdoorsy person, but every so often I just feel the need to escape and get some fresh air. I went for a stroll with my camera hoping to find some mushrooms to photograph. I thought I was a bit too late and couldn’t see any at first, but after spotting the first one I kept coming across more. I got few interesting Autumn photos to work with out of this. I put some of them on my Red Bubble already, although I have loads more that I haven’t yet gotten around to sorting out.

My partner checked out my latest ideas for the game I’m working on and he seemed to agree, that my current solution has resolved a few issues. Yay, if he hadn’t have liked it I think I’d be out of ideas for this. With it moving in the right direction we could start to figure out a few other mechanics. I’ve implemented a few changes this week and I’m feeling mostly positive about it. I spent some time relaxing and drawing too, as I’ve still been feeling off with this allergy or whatever it is. I picked up some tablets though, so lets see if they make a difference.

Finally got to see Jurassic World 4D. I’m not sure if I’d watch a film for the first time in 4D as it could be a bit distracting (not even sure if it works so well with films that haven’t been built specifically for it), but I found it a lot of fun regardless. Besides, dinosaurs! πŸ˜›

About wallcat

I have a strong passion for computing. In particular programming for which I am able to use a variety of languages including C++, Visual C#, Blitz Basic, Actionscript 2.0, Python and Lua. I also enjoy web-design and have some knowledge of HTML/CSS, PHP/SQL and Javascript. As well as programming I have a strong background in art and enjoy drawing in my spare time. When I’m not sat at my computer I like to keep fit by going to the gym or using my exercise ball.

Excellent! And the movie – 4D – I fell asleep for the first movie, but I’ve heard great things about this one. I’d love to see any 4D movie though. πŸ™‚

I enjoyed it, it’s a good, fun action movie. I’m not sure you could fall asleep too easily in a 4D viewing either. I guess we’re lucky in that our cinema stays fairly up to date with its technology. 4D is a lot of fun, but I’ve always had a preference for special effects type experiences to actual rides.

I really like the mushroom pics, and yay for solving some of your programming problems. I’m dying to see Jurassic World and the new Star Trek and Star Wars movies, but I’ll have to wait till they come on TV…there’s no good places to see them here (plus who can afford movies with popcorn and stuff anymore?) Have a lovely weekend! πŸ™‚

Thanks. We’re lucky to live so close to such a great cinema, but it is really expensive. I think more people wait for them to come out instead these days. Jurassic World is one of my favourite films this year and I definitely recommend it. I’m also really looking forward to Star Trek and Star Wars :D. Have a nice week!

Beautiful pics you took! I haven’t done that in a while. Should probably try my hand at it again πŸ™‚

Yeah, I’m the same. I love nature, but I don’t always enjoy being out, particularly when it’s cold. Thanks, it’s a really enjoyable thing to do.

With an image like that, it’s worth it to get outside once in a while.
